It's gonna be all right! The title of the documentary film is also the signet of the design report. Derived from the Greek translation of the film title "OLA THE PANE KALA" a visual appearance was created with the help of the abstracted Greek characters. Expressive and diverse, it gives the film, the accompanying communication and the event a framework that optimally brings out the positive mood and the changing power of the Greek design scene.
Through an accompanying programme booklet and an exhibition plan, all visitors will once again receive the most important background information on the central questions of the documentary film as well as on the designers and design offices from Greece whose exhibits are shown in the exhibition.
The exhibition presents a selection of Greek works that have won prizes in major design competitions in recent years, not only at home but also abroad. A total of 50 exhibits from posters and editorials to packaging design and typeface development have been assembled for the exhibition.
1,000 EFCHARISTO for this wonderful team. Rumi Benecke, Matthias Berghoff, Bounidis, Kris Braun, Leonidas Grecos, Daniela Herweg, Sebastian Jeschke, Konstantinos Kazianis, Moritz Löser, Kostis Manolopoulos, Lorena Manzo, Björn Pakusa, Andreas Ruhe, André Schiffer, Marco Schmidt, Nico Prang, Brian Storm, Jennifer Trees.
What is design? With this question our journey to our old homeland began. We have tried to find answers. Answers from those who create design in Greece, and some of them extend beyond the borders of the country. Within different perceptions and sources of inspiration we also dealt with the social and political changes in Greece.
The DOCUMENTARY FILM provides deep insights into Greek society, into the future visions and wishes of those who, with their work, are breaking new ground, opening doors and thus making a contribution to freeing Greece from its fundamental problems. Even if you do not reveal the end of a film, sometimes it is time to give up old customs: "EVERYTHING GONNA BE ALRIGHT!“
